YES to Galloway,
NO to a Park

Galloway has been chosen as the preferred location for Scotland’s next National Park, but it’s not too late to stop it

We need investment urgently, but we don’t need a wasteful, bureaucratic National Park to deliver what we need. Affordable housing, better roads, better schools and health care and good jobs should be our priorities, not more civil servants.

Supporters of a National Park say it will encourage tourism, but we can’t cope with what we have, so our infrastructure needs improvement first.

And we already have tourist attractions and a Scottish Government agency to promote them.

Peaceful demonstration - Wednesday 5th February

On Wednesday 5th Feburary at 2pm Dumfries and Galloway Councillors will hold a special meeting at The Bridge in Dumfries to discuss their response to the consultation on the proposed creation of a Galloway National Park.

We are organising a peaceful demonstration outside the meeting, and everyone is welcome to participate. Join us from 1pm outside The Bridge to engage with the Councillors and express our opposition to the proposal.
